“ Came here with a friend while she was visiting. It was a colder day so we wanted some soup and what better than a steaming bowl of pho. I found this place because they have Bo Ne and I wanted her to try it. So we each had a bowl of pho and we split the Bo Ne. Over all everything was very tasty. I also had a Vietnamese iced coffee which was very strong and yummy just like I like it. Overall would recommend for both pho and Bo Ne. I will be returning. ”
“ Food was so delicious! I heard that in Houston, you have to try pho and so we found this hidden gem. Their baguette that comes with the steak and spam hot plate was super crispy outside and fluffy on the inside. The pho broth was super flavorful and the meats we tried were the short rib, flank, and brisket! My favorite dish and the one I'd definitely order again is the vermicelli with pork! Their grilled pork is really tasty and compliments the slightly acidic sauce with the cold noodles! It's a really refreshing dish and I'm drooling just thinking about it! Service was great and the restaurant feels clean inside. They had a lot of cute Christmas decorations for the holiday season. ”
“ I checked out this spot while visiting Texas. The interior isn't anything special, but the food definitely makes up for it. Our group all ordered the bo ne, and it was cooked perfectly--piping hot and full of flavor. If you're ordering other items, though, don't expect them to be as impressive; the bo ne is really their specialty. The service is decent, but at casual places like this, you shouldn't expect much. You come here for the food, not the ambiance. ”
“ Food: Small classic pho tai-- very tiny and it came with lemons instead of limes and it was different but good! Broth was light but flavorful, found myself not overly stuffed. Ample amount of meat was provided. Couldn't finish it but I was definitely satisfied! Service: Quick and attentive without constantly being bothered! Definitely a chill spot, family and friend oriented. ”
“ Have been feeling a bit under the weather so craving some "therapeutic" pho. Place was fairly empty when we came so got serviced quickly - everyone was helpful and nice! We got the classic pho with fatty brisket, flank tendon, and a lean cut and also tried their oxtail pho (added meatballs). Both really hit the spot! Oxtail was quite tender and had some flavor to it, you def need to add more meat to the pho just to maintain a decent noodle/broth to protein ratio. Passionfruit tea was so refreshing and not too sweet. Pro tip: if you're wanting to come here, it's right off the Beltway and there's quite a bit of construction on the roads so keep that mind regarding commute times but don't skip out on this place! ”
“ Located on the same side as Viet Hoa Supermarket, Pho Bo To & Bo Ne has quietly become one of my go-to spots for both pho and bo ne. The food has always been on point, the service has always been ultra friendly, the prices are affordable, and the vibe is often low key. They've done a good job at maximizing the space inside. It's not huge, but it's enough to handle several large groups at the same time. The waits are never long, even during peak times on the weekend and there is plenty of seating during the week during lunch and dinner. No lie, I feast here every time. This means I'm with large groups where multiple bowls of pho, at least a platter or two of their famed bo ne, and a good number of their appetizers ranging from nem cuon, cha gio, and their super interesting com chien bo luc lac. The pho is aromatic and the broth is semi-clear, with ample heapings of meats for their dac biet version and very underrated. Their bo kho (beef stew) is also famous, which goes well with noodles or baguette. The bo ne is the show stealer for most, with a good amount of beef cubes over a sizzling platter accompanied with a salad, baguette, and a killer paté + butter mix. I'd happily eat a cup of the latter. Plenty of folks will talk about how difficult service can be at other competing restaurants, but I've found that this location is always excellent in that arena. They're good about tending to tables, being friendly all the time, and really good with bringing the food in a timely manner. They may have their bad days, but most of my experiences have been some of their best ones. I highly recommend to all to give this place a try and order the very same things I've mentioned above for an ideal spread. __________ My photos: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pho-bo-to-and-bo-ne-houston-4?userid=ysCBsXWPB-LAiewVS3jZfQ ”
“ It seems like I only come to Phở Bò Tơ & Bò Né once a year during Lunar New Year Festivals at Viet Hoa Center. My recent visit was just that. It was freezing cold. My friend and I wanted to refuel our energy by having some delicious Vietnamese food in our guts. My friend ordered Shaken Beef and Thai Tea Drink. I forgot what I ordered. I was starving and watching the happening on the other side of the window. Service was pretty fast. Food was delicious. Prior to Covid, I came with my Yelper friend Eddie S and his mom. I tried Bún bò Huế for the first time. It was alright. Not much memory again. It was prior to lion dance shows. But I enjoyed the company. ”
